I used to use the Barracuda Standard, a positive pressure goggle. Positive pressure means they seal out water without needing a vacuum and sucking up your skin. The positive pressure goggles are more comfortable and don't leave ugly rings, but they are tricky to adjust (you have to get the nose bridge set just right or they leak). These goggles, the Ultimate, are a middle product between the positive pressure Standard and a conventional suction goggle. There is no adjustment except for the strap tightness, and they are easy to take on and off. They don't leak, and they are more comfortable then a suction goggle, but not as comfortable as the Standard.

I have both the silver mirrored, and the blue on blue. The mirrored are great for outdoor daylight swimming, while the blue on blue are excellent for indoor swimming as well as outdoor out of strong sunlight or glare.

I have a small face and small nose and while these work ok they are not the best model for smaller faces. They do leak unless I tighten the straps considerably although the problem seems to be around the nose bridge (nonadjustable). However, they are comfortable and when I can get them to seal they feel nice in the water. One last thing to note is that they seem prone to fogging after a fairly brief time in the water (15-20 minutes) unlike some other goggles I have worn.

These are the best goggles that I have ever used. I've been swimming regularly for about 35 years so I've gone through a lot of goggles. They fit my eyes very well and do not leave goggle marks on my face. They do not leak. As they get older and in certain pool conditions, they do tend to fog up a bit. I like the blue lens for pool swimming. It can brighten up a day natatorium. However, the blue does distort colors. Once I used the blue lens for a triathlon. I had a hard time finding the bright orange buoys because they looked gray.
